Santa

Even though we are not teaching the kids to believe in Santa Claus - it is still fun to have their picture taken. Liliana knows who the character Santa is, we're just not teaching her that he brings presents. As in the past years, Liliana does NOT want Santa to hold her!

Christmas Party #3 - Christmas Eve

Our next Christmas adventure was Christmas Eve at Uncle Luke and Aunt Susan's house. The kids had another exciting time. We had dinner and opened lots of fun presents. The kids put on their Christmas jammies. They were both worn out when we were done!

Christmas Party #2

Our second Christmas party of the season was spending the afternoon at Grandma Rose's house. We always do this the Sunday before Christmas. This year Liliana and Graves had such a good time playing with their cousins. They got a lot of great toys and just had a blast!

Liliana working hard at her "game". Her My First LeapPad is amongst her favorite gifts!

Graves smiling, as always :)
Another favorite toy - Thomas!
Daddy and Graves - can we say tired?

Christmas Party #1

Our Christmas celebrations started with a big holiday party with our mom's group! Thank you HighCountryMommies for the great party and wonderful gift!
As you can see it was a wonderful night full of lot of people. The kids had some crafts to do and we had tons of great food. It was definetly a lot of fun! Graves enjoyed walking around the room people studying and Liliana had a blast with her friends!

Graves' First Snow Play

Liliana's Snow Fun

Some more pictures...

I found these pictures on Ira's computer from the last couple of weeks. I thought they were too cute not to share!

Cute Pouting Pirate

Liliana was dressed up one day as a pirate and Ira kept trying to take her picture - but she didn't want him to so she made pouting faces instead. Silly girl.

We finally got her to smile.

It's been a while

I haven't updated in a while. Life has been busy. Liliana and I both had a nasty stomach bug last week, that consumed our week. It's been a busy month. Nothing terribly exciting, just busy.
Liliana is getting very excited about her birthday coming up. Both of her older cousins have fall birthdays, so she went to their parties and she started talking about her birthday. I can't believe in just over a month she will be 3!! The 2's have finally caught up with her. She is one stubborn little girl! But sooo sweet on the flip side! She says some very funny things and I really should write some of them down. She loves to talk on the phone (when she is in the mood), although when she gets excited to tell something most people have a hard time catching what she says. She is really looking forward to going to see Juliana tomorrow (sorry everyone else is second to Juli, although Grandpa is a close second!).

Graves is doing tremendous! He is really mastered walking and now mostly walks, and rarely crawls. He loves his sister and gives her the biggest smiles. He really really wants to keep up with her. He has learned how to react to her, which is kind of funny I have to admit. If Liliana takes a toy away from him or has something he wants, he sure lets her know it! He's "almost" sleeping through the night (finally!) - I'm really hoping that the pattern continues! Teething hasn't helped this goal though. He cut his 8th tooth last week. Graves is officially in double digits. He turned 10 months old on Monday!

I will try to do better about updating. I have so much going on right now.

For now, I leave you with some pictures of the Miller silliness. I think that this is what both the kids like to do best, be silly!

One Last Trip to Tweetsie in '08

Liliana and I made our final trip to Tweetsie last Sunday before they closed for the season. We'll miss our fun Sunday trips. It was a lot of fun getting to spend some mommy/daughter time this summer. I'm already looking forward to next year! Liliana is too I'm sure! She has been wanting to go to Tweetsie all day long today. It's hard to explain that they are closed.
